The Fireplace

A few of my friends, me included, have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now. But since it's on the expensive side, we have decided to save this for a special occasion - our annual Christmas dinner. :)

Butter
Black Walnut Bread
To start off, complimentary bread and butter. The staff was accommodating enough to serve a different bread for Nathan since he's allergic to nuts.

My menu for the night:

Millionaire's Salad - Pan-fried Foie Gras, Portobello Mushrooms, Organic Leaves, Raspberry Vinaigrette
This salad is a WINNER! From the melt-in-your-mouth foie gras down to the last drop of raspberry vinaigrette which has just a hint of sweetness. It also has scallops and prawns. - A foodgasm in your mouth! :)

With my "Millionaire"
And because I fell in love with it, I just had to take a picture. The Goose Station's Eggs Benedict just found its competition. Benedict vs. Millionaire..? :)

10 oz. Rib-eye, cooked medium well
The steak is juicy but I wish that they'd put in a bit more creativity on the plate. At first, I was considering the 8 oz. tenderloin but chose this since it costs the same. I ended up eating just 2/3 of this and had to donate the rest to Valdimir. :P

Potato Gratin
This is a complimentary side dish and it's delicious!

Hot Chocolate Soup
For dessert, Hot Chocolate Soup. The first words that came out of our mouth - "Mmmmmm..." The sides have a subtle crunch and the center is gooey. It's very rich so be sure to share it with 2 other friends. :)

Overall, the service and food were great! "Millionaire", I will be back for you..

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to my dear friends! Love you, guys! And thanks for another memorable dinner. :)
