Cucina Victoria

A quick, light dinner with my sisters before watching Les Misérables for the 2nd time. :)

Funny that we didn't order pasta nor rice dishes when it's supposed to be their specialty. :P

Gambas - Slices of black tiger prawns sautéed with garlic in olive oil spiked with fresh chili peppers
Caprece Ala Victoria - Slices of local fresh mozzarella (kesong puti) on a bed of fresh greens, basil and tomatoes with pesto sauce spiked with olive oil and balsamic vinegar
Clam Chowder - A creamy blend of clams, potatoes and bacon bits enough to satisfy ones craving for a hearty meal
Overall, the food was okay BUT the service sucked big time. Aside from it being very slow, the waiter made a remark - "Ma'am, magdugtong nalang tayo ng isa pang table kasi ang daming pagkain." That came out wrong.. Was he implying that we're gluttonous?! We just ordered 1 gambas, 1 salad (both of which were shared amongst the three of us), and 3 clam chowder. Hmph!

Not going back to this restaurant anytime soon..
