Sweet Bella

Time for me and my gal pals G, K and V to have a catch-up session. And so we decided to have a girlie lunch at Sweet Bella.

On their first floor, they have their cake and bread selections. I was looking forward to ordering their macarons. But to my dismay, they were already sold out. At 12 noon?? Damn! They must be good!

Look at all those lovely cakes.. And they're calling out my name. Since I didn't get my macarons, I was determined to order Mangotier. But again, sold out! *sigh*

And so we proceed to the second floor to get a table. For coffee addicts, you can choose from their Nespresso menu.

By the time 12:30 rolled in, G and my stomachs were growling. Since K and V were still stuck in traffic, we went ahead and ordered French Onion Soup. This was surprisingly good - Two thumbs up! :)

12:45 pm - Hooray! They finally arrive. Time to order! :)

Spaghetti Seafood Agio Olio - Again, we were surprised. First, the pasta was spicy (Not at all what we expected). Second, it was yummy! :) Notice the squiggly bread? Cute huh? :)

Linguini Quattro Funghi - G and I loved this. It had enough creaminess and they did not scrimp on the mushrooms! I guess both the pasta were good enough that they split our vote. :) We also ordered Rustica Brick-Oven Pizza but silly me forgot to take a picture. I guess hunger struck me hard that it affected my memory. :P

Since it's a cafe, we're sure to order dessert. We settled for Chocolata which is my third choice and it was disappointing. It was like eating plain chocolate cake. At least it has a nice presentation. :)

Next time I visit Sweet Bella, I will make sure to get a hold of their macarons and Mangotier! :)
